SITE CITE SIGHT
Through photographic documentation of found moments, art historical references and contemporary artworks that include studio activity and archives, offset by language and words; Site Cite Sight is a journey and a journal into the beauty, perplexities and contradictions of everyday life expressed through art.
Its name derives from Post Nature Art, a platform and mechanism I founded in 2011 to question and cope with some of the rapid changes taking hold in today’s world, followed by a series of mixed media photographic works titled “Lost Site Cite Sight” from 2014.
Site Cite Sight represents an alternative direction that moves away from the purity of a Dystopian / Utopian viewpoint as we head further into the 21st Century. It is about lifting away barriers that separate art and life.
